The Miracle League provides baseball for youths and young adults with special needs. Volunteers are paired with buddies, which makes it possible for the parents to watch their child play the game. Buddies protect the player during the games, assist the player in batting and running the bases, and are a friend to the person. For the last 8 years, Riverview has participated in this program. We are honored to be able to work with such wonderful people, and to help make it possible for them to realize their dream of playing baseball. This year we will be participating on June 16th at Union High School.
